Hey

I’m sarahgrace

As a young girl, I borrowed my mom’s old camera, persuading my younger sister to be my model as we explored our 40-acre farm, chasing golden light and discovering the joy of storytelling through a lens.

Now 12 years later, becoming a momma has completely changed how I see photography. It’s not just a perfect pose and a pretty edit on top anymore. I’ve now personally experienced how fast the everyday moments come and go when you have a child growing up before your eyes, and how soon we miss them as they change. I scroll back multiple times a week through my camera roll to see my sweet girl's first smiles and how tiny she was, and I know I’ll continue to do the same with each photo I take of her as she grows.

I want to give you that same gift by capturing your season of life exactly as it is today, so you can look back on it a week from now, a year from now, or forever from now and reminisce about the sweetest of memories. Not just by memory, but seeing it for every bit of its beauty.

MY STORY

I grew up on a 40-acre farm in a small town in North Arkansas. I married my best friend in November of 2022. Jacob is goofy, outgoing, and the calm to my chaos. I’ve loved capturing life through a lens for as long as I can remember, but Simply Sg “officially” began in 2014 when I was just 15, still needing my parents to accompany me to sessions as I drove.. I shot my first wedding in December of 2016, and many more have followed. I worked as a day-of wedding coordinator at Kindred Barn from May 2022 to March 2024. Since June of 2021, I’ve worked part-time with the college ministry and media team at my church, and I now serve as the college associate.

Over the years, Simply Sg has grown into something even more meaningful. Today, it’s not just a career; it’s the first dream to become a reality for me and now that dream leads way to even greater dreams. I am now a mom to a sweet baby girl, another dream that has become a reality, and it has completely changed how I see photography. I’ve now personally experienced how fast the everyday moments come and go when you have a child growing up before your eyes, and how soon we miss them as they change. It makes capturing the beauty of every day life even more special to me.
